GETTING STARTED
Understand your studio workspace
Captura helps photography studios organise enquiries, clients, events, client documents and delivery work. A lead is an enquiry in the sales pipeline. A client is a person whose studio records and projects you manage. An event is a photography project linked to a client; sessions describe individual parts of its shoot schedule.
Before you start: Studio Owners use the studio workspace. Managers and Employees see the areas their roles permit. Photography clients use the client portal supplied by their studio, rather than creating a studio to view their own project.
- Sign in to your studio account.
- Use Leads for enquiries, Clients for client records, and Events for photography projects.
- If you are a photography client, use the portal access supplied by your studio.
What happens next
You work in the area matching the record you need.
Things to know
A pipeline stage is not payment proof, and an event is not a Captura subscription. Team access depends on the studio's active team entitlement.
If something goes wrong
If a page is missing, tell the studio Owner which role you have and which area you need; do not create a second studio to bypass access.
