GALLERIES & CLIENT PORTAL

Upload photos and recover failed uploads

1 min read · Captura guides

The upload queue shows which photos are uploading, processing, complete, skipped or failed.

Before you start: Owners and managers with Galleries access and available studio storage.

  1. Open the gallery and its Photos tab.
  2. Use the upload control or drop image files into the photo area. Follow the upload limit shown in your account.
  3. Wait for completion and review any failed or skipped entries. Use the queue’s retry control for failed uploads.

What happens next

Successfully processed photos appear in the gallery; selecting files alone does not prove every photo finished uploading.

Things to know

If a selection exceeds the displayed batch limit, split it into smaller batches. Previously uploaded files may be skipped; choose the displayed “Upload … skipped anyway” option only if another copy is intended. Uploads are limited by studio storage.

If something goes wrong

For a stall, check your connection and retry failed items after the queue settles. For invalid images, use a valid exported photo and retry. If storage is full, review storage with the owner before uploading again. Contact support with file type, approximate file size, error text and time; do not send private photos by default.
