Create and save a questionnaire template

Questionnaire templates collect shoot details with reusable questions.

Before you start: The studio Owner, if Questionnaires is shown. A saved template and a client record are needed before assignment.

1. Open Questionnaires → New template.
2. Choose Blank template or From a Captura starter. A starter creates a copy you can customise.
3. Edit the title and questions; use Add field, field types, required settings and available section/help text options.
4. Choose Preview as client to review, then Save. Wait for All changes saved before assigning.

What happens next

The saved template is available for client assignment.

Things to know

Supported editor types include Short answer, Long answer, Dropdown, Multiple choice, Checkboxes, Date and Rating. Unsaved changes disable assignment from the editor. New assignments preserve their field wording; changing a template is not a promise to rewrite an already assigned questionnaire.

If something goes wrong

If assignment is disabled, save changes and check that a client exists. If a save fails, keep the editor open and preserve unsaved wording before contacting support.
